With combined family experience exceeding 75+ years in the Bay Area's North Bay real estate industry and working with one of Marin and Sonoma County's top Realtors, Abby Tanem, John has a wealth of information and experience. John has been working with Abby for over 10 years in all aspects of Real Estate and has shifted his primary focus to full-time real estate, working with Buyers and Sellers in all aspects of preparation and transactions.

A Sonoma County native, John has lived in both Sonoma and Marin counties and is well-acquainted with the unique and charming locales of the North Bay. Whether working with a Bay Area transplant, long-time resident, or anyone in between, John values building new relationships and sharing his knowledge of the area with his clients.

John is well versed in the preparations and marketing of homes while representing Sellers. In working with Buyers, John listens to their wish list and assists in the search with a patient, low-pressure, result-oriented resolve. He is familiar with complex Buy-Sell scenarios, such as 1031 exchanges, contingent sales, and bridge loan / hard money transactions – John can handle these types of deals with efficiency and diligence.

Although John's day-to-day focus is in Real Estate, he makes time to pursue his passions of playing music in local bands, biking, hiking, and exploring new (and old) corners all around the Bay Area. Staying balanced in life fuels his energy as a Realtor.
